Our Co-Working Tuesdays (and free breakfast) have been attracting freelancers from the local community for some time now. As part of us improving our co-working network and supporting local business we will be profiling some of our regular attendees. This week, we start off with Rosalind Kara founder of Elated Eating, an online community campaign developed
We're all about community, and it means a lot to us to play our part in actively contributing to the local area, as well as sponsoring the mighty Eton Manor RFC, we throw an annual street party and take part in the Wanstead Festival, find out what we're thinking and what's going on in the neighbourhood.
The roof of our garden has now come down… Let’s hope this weather holds!
We’ve decided to extend our discounted coffee offer until the end of February.
Not many will know we serve Caravan Coffee, which is certainly one of the best Roastery's in London. To kick start the coffee culture at the pub, we’ll be serving daytime coffee at £1.50, to perhaps enjoy with a lunchtime sandwich, or the amazing gluten free flourless almond cake.
Which are you..
£16 for 2 courses - From Tuesday 24th January.
We’ve revamped our Lunchtime offer and we now provide a ‘Worker’s Lunch’ of sandwiches, soups and salads, and a 2 course fixed menu, where you can enjoy our evening menu at the delicious price of £16.
Hot topic this year is the new parking restrictions for Wanstead. We attended the meeting and it was clear there where a lot resentment towards the proposals, and the council made the right choice to announce a full consultation.
While the overwhelming majority were against paid parking (as we are outside the pub as we and the direct neighbours have no parking issues to ask for regulation) it was obvious there were a number of residents and roads deeply effected by parking issues, and our hope is the consultation resolves those problems, without the overbearing rollout in the initial proposal.
